It has been strongly suspected, alleged and widely speculated, that a group of hired and irrelevant politicians in Kano and northern Nigeria have embarked upon their negative and persistently failed mission of derailing the Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiya movement in Kano stage and to further create chaos and anarchy in the party, particularly at this crucial period of race toward the Nigerian general elections in 2023.
However, the political misdeeds under referral commenced by an experiment with a thoughtless Governor of Sokoto Sate RTH Aminu Waziri Tambuwal in the current dispensation. PDP must be cautious of Governor Tambuwal because his cross-carpeting acts in collaboration with people like Aminu Wali and Bello Hayatu ( judo) in the political affairs of Kano State on the 10th of April 2021 have convincingly proved that.
Engr. Dr Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso proved to be a one man army with political will and power. And based on his mission, vision, political intentions and ideologies he was cordoned and protected by Almighty God against the acts of the envious throughout his political career.
For instance, in 2011 Nigerian general elections, Kwankwaso with no government at hands, contested for an election under the platform of half paralysed PDP which he reactivated. Kwankwaso won the governorship election by defeating the incumbency candidate Malam Salisu Sagir Takai.
In 2014, Kwankwaso due to some political wrangling, dumped the PDP and joined the wagon for the establishment of APC, the merger party in Nigeria. And with his massive supporters, Kwankwaso won the State and National elections in the APC which brought in Buhari and Ganduje Governments respectively with Kwankwaso himself winning the Kano Central Senatorial elections with a record of 750,000 votes the highest in the history of Nigerian senatorial elections.
In 2018, senator Kwankwaso because of the scorning and belittled attitude exhibited on him by some members of the ruling party, returned to his original party the PDP. And which prior to his returned and surprisingly too was almost dead and buried, because as one of the largest political parties in Africa, its name can hardly be heard or mentioned in Kano State.
But in the year 2019, Senator Kwankwaso single handedly resuscitated the already dead political party. Despite the total anty-party activities conducted by the group of some irrelevant politicians in Kano e.g Aminu Wali, Bello Hayatu (judo) who ganged up with APC, (as alleged), Kwankwaso succeeded neatly in his mission.
The second group of politicians from the Kwankwaso reactivated PDP comprising - Professor Hafizu Abubakar the former deputy Governor of kano state, Aminu Dabo the former NPA boss and their supporters completely left the PDP and were officially received by Buhari in the Villa as full members of APC merger party.
The third group of these politicians led by Aminu Al-Amin (little) openly sabotage the party under the Kwankwasiya movement. The group did this by dragging the PDP Governorship candidate Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf from tribunal to supreme court challenging his nomination as the governorship candidate of the party in the 2019 Kano State Governorship election.
But unfortunately, for these Kano state political cohorts who all teamed up with incumbent Ganduje and Muhammad Buhari put together, were beaten in a one round knockout of political contest by Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiya movement in Kano 2019 governorship election with a handsome merging, that ridiculed not only the 3 groups of politicians in Kano but also the incumbent Ganduje and Muhammad Buhari led federal government.
It was the shame and aftermath of the brutal defeat (duka daya as Kwankwaso teases) that made the group of Nasiru El-Rufai, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the late Abba kyari, Mamman Daura Adams Oshiomole and Buhari himself(as alleged) to confiscate the mandate and victory of Engr. Abba kabir Yusuf of PDP who won the election.
Therefore, it is against the aboveground that the attention of PDP CWC needs to be drawn that PDP in Kano and northern Nigeria belongs to Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiya movement. It is indeed a political hypothesis tested several times but results did not change.
Finally, gratitude must be expressed to the Central Working Committee of the party through the office of the national publicity secretary Mr kola Ologbondiyan for debunking the mischievous statement and the purported suspension of Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiya movement from the party. PDP belongs to Kwankwaso in Kano and northern Nigeria so please the CWC of PDP do not make an error because democracy is a game of numerical strength!!!
