The 47 trained female medical doctors are products of Kwankwasiyya Foundations. They were sent abroad to study medicine. These medical doctors are very special in every respect :
1st They are female who live in society which is predominantly patriarchal where opportunities are more open to males than females.
2nd They studied medicine and are back to a society where their medical talents are desperately needed, where the health sector is paradoxically unhealthy and where female medical doctors are in absolute scarcity.
3rd These female medical doctors are children of the poor, having nobody to support them and shape their future and came from a country that does not value education as much , where it's intellectual languish and where illiteracy is disgustingly celebrated.
4th These student are now changed , they will never be the same, and are profoundly equipped with their medical skills and empowered by their level of education to support themselves, their families and general society.
This is why we are proudly Kwankwasiyya! We believe in socially including the socially excluded segment of the population. These students and their parents will forever be grateful to Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso - The Paramount leader of Kwankwasiyya Movement and unparalleled grassroots politician who has obsession for education and is passionate about educating the under privileged.
Out of Government Kwankwasiyya is still executing projects capable of positively shaping the future of the country. More of these projects are underway and soon Kwankwasiyya Foundations will extends the same initiative to entire Nigeria and most importantly in favor of children of the poor. It is with unredeemable ecstasy that I welcome you back our daughters!
